Overall enjoyed Essence. Unaware of a $5 cover, however there was no live music or DJ that I could see. Not sure what the cover was for? Other than that our server Cammy was excellent! She always made sure we were taken care of. Excellent excellent excellent staff member. 4 stars because I was dissapointed by the music!
Service was mad slow, music didn't get good til about 12. Couches were pretty nasty, but the overall vibe wasn't bad. About half full.

If you go with people it'll be fun, Dont go alone more like a chill spot for friends. Couches are torn apart. Hookah is 25 I thought that was alot tbh . Overall cool vibes and good music.

I can rip on the place because I know the people that go there and the owners. Even then, still a great place. College kids have caused excessive wear but if you want smoke hookah, drink a beer (BYOB), or watch a game on the TV (or TV show) it's a great place. The weekend crowds are crowded. If you are looking for the place to go after hours in Bethlehem, this is also it but careful as it gets REALLY crowded.
