My husband and I recently had dinner at Emeril's in the Sands at Bethlehem. The service was first rate as was the food. Very generous with the add-on. I have 2 specific notes. The bread served was not Emeril quality. It was more non descript.. bland and the little biscuits very dry and crumbly.. I'm sure this can be fixed. However, my biggest and more immediate issue is..I asked for decaf tea.. well.. unfortunately the server was not aware that organic and decaffeinated are not aways the same. I did not sleep all night.. was HIGHLY disappointed with this. I know for many it's not an issue but for many of us with this sensitivity..it can be devestating.. hope you can educate your staff accordingly!
My husband and I dined here recently. We enjoy fine dining frequently and do not mind spending the money if it is worth it and this place is definitely not worth the money! Everything from start to finish was wrong And distasteful. The wait staff was the only part delightful. I spoke to the general manager after our experience, who I thought was kind and understanding.. and still 11 days later nothing has been done. I went this route because I tried to be respectful in the restaurant for the other people dining. Do not waste your money. Go somewhere else in Bethlehem to enjoy a meal worth the cost!!!
I'm italian and like good food. Since I was comped, and read that it was a special menu to choose from I had doubts. Well, we were shown a table right next to the hostesses podium and said we didn't like it with all the front traffic. Two minutes later we were then shown a table right by the windows it was lovely. I felt I was at a resort on vacation. Then a wonderful waiter Daniel, showed us our menu. Daniel explained how everything worked and answered any questions. We had a lovely drink, and ordered the Lobster bisque. The next time I go I will pass on the bisque it had too much tarragon for me. We ordered the sirloin steak with whipped potatoes and asparagus and my cousin said that it was wonderful extremely tender. I ordered the pork chop and it had grits and Apple on the side. It was cooked to perfection. I have never a had tender and moist chop like this. I should also mention that it was gigantic. It was actually two chops together. It was one of the most amazing meals I've ever had. Then Daniel asked us about our dessert so I decided to try the famous Emeril's banana cream pie. It was delicious but not necessarily how you see in the pictures. Then the waitress came over to us and said we were free to leave when we were done with our coffee and dessert. There was no check no signing anything. We never felt rushed or pressured to leave or give a gratuity, of course we did. All I know is that I can't wait to go back. The manager was also so nice. He was running around that place helping everyone and asking if we needed anything. What a great experience.
Very disappointing. It's a steak "chop" restaurant with an identity crisis. They have a mishmosh of foods without focus on good preparation or quality of steak/chops. Very overpriced for what you get. Many sides and preparations are creamy and unappetizing. No restroom for guests in restaurant, you have to use the casino restroom. I was expecting so much better for "Emeril's" restaurant. Save your money or comps and go elsewhere.
Very expensive and very very worth it. Only had an iffy server one time. The filet is worth every penny!!
