Several years ago we brought our Beagle here for an ultrasound (referred by our regular vet). After it was completed, the vet tech came out (not the vet) and said I should say my goodbyes to my dog as they wanted to put him down on the spot. I refused and after much arguing with the staff, I was presented with an alternate solution (drain fluid from his chest and put on meds). He had another 1.5 years w/ good quality of life on nothing more a daily regimen of prednisone and tramadol. He would not have had that time had I not argued with the staff about putting him down.
Fast forward several years later. I came in several times with my mom's dog for an ultrasound and removal of fluid from his chest. Each time I was kept waiting 45-60 minutes despite being 15 minutes early for my appointment. On my second to last visit I was kept waiting for nearly 2 hours! On my last visit I checked in exactly 8 minutes late. After waiting for about 15 minutes Dr. Wright comes out and chastises me for being late in front of a waiting room full of people. He also tells me that he will not see me and that I will have to re-schedule - knowing full well that this procedure had to be done every 2 weeks as HE advised. We re-scheduled but a week later the dog collapsed and died on my mom's living room floor. We haven't been back since.
Started going here because we needed boarding for our two dogs at a place where we knew our dogs would be safe and well kept while we were on vacation for three days. when we came to pick up our two dogs a dachshund and a jack russel mix, they brought out each dog one at a time and when they brought our dachshund out they kept yanking at her leash to pull her back and you would hear her yelp.
Since then we brought our two dogs there for check ups and shots, and on our last visit they needed most of their shots again, and the staff was VERY attentive and friendly. but as for the bill.... $600 for shots. are you kidding?? that's an absolutely ridiculous amount of money for vaccines!! wayyyyy to expensive, will be looking for another vet to go to where prices are much more reasonable!!
