We are not local. Needed a food basket for my family who are mourning the loss of their loved one. These lovely people were willing to make this happen on a Saturday afternoon. Great customer service.

Beware ordering online. I know substitutions can happen if a flower isn't in-stock but my mother-in-law was sent an entirely different bouquet. Not even a bouquet, she received a pot of bulbs. I ordered roses and lilies in a speciality vase (with a matching premium price point). What she received was some potted bulbs with flourescent pink plastic raffia falling out of it and a fake bird stuck in it. I knew when she texted a picture saying she had received it. I had spent a long-time online looking for one she'd like as she does a lot for everyone she knows, has been really down lately, and lives out of state so we couldn't be with her on her birthday. I love bulbs because they keep blooming, it just isn't what I had taken so long to choose for her. There is nothing similar to what I ordered except that it's flowers. I uploaded a picture of what I ordered, and what she received. I don't like to leave negative reviews, but I'd hate for others to have the same thing happen. With technology today, we will know what was delivered. It might be a great shop, but maybe not ready to partner with a large online florist delivery company if there is no way to even remotely match the inventory listed. They did write the card personalization as requested, that's a plus. I once ordered flowers for my mother and (a different) florist wrote, "From Mom" instead of "To Mom". My mom didn't know who they were from and knew her mother couldn't have sent them so it lost the effect. Country Rose Florist wrote the card out beautifully.

The florist was able to make a new bouquet for her once they were notified. They said they were coming to take the arrangement and deliver another one. This is the difference in a family-owned vs. corporate business, they care to fix things and that part is appreciated. Just a little awkward for my mother-in-law.
