Last time I was at this casino was over a year ago, so I decided to give it a go again, forgetting that the slots are super tight. First they have the game I like to play in the smoking section, Sons of Anarchy. I decided to brave the smoke and play until two smokers sat next to me and lit up. I couldn't take the smoke and went into to non-smoking section where games are limited. Seems all good games are in smoking area. Second, there is no pay outs at all. At least in AC the house let's you win a few times, but obviously that money goes back into the machines. But you play with their money for a bit saving you some cash. Here at Sands that 's not the case. Every game I sat at paid nothing. People were complaining about how the slots don't pay anything, even to the point several were slapping the buttons in frustration when they played. This my last time ever going to Sands, as the machines sucks your money but don't spit anything back to you.
Parking was easy. It would be nice if the restaurants were a bit seperate from the casino so that a family could eat and use the restroom without needing a security escort for the minors. The smoking section also took over a lot of the non-smoking section.
It was my wife and I first time at a casino, we loved it. Didn't really play anything but the vibe, restaurants (a little pricey but worth it), and live music they had was awesome. We only stayed one night but well worth it. Easy to find off the highway and also in a great historic location. Definitely will be going again.
I really like it here, do I really went there for work I ended up really enjoying myself otherwise. Food was good the food court is great. I went to steelworks and the service was good and the food was really good. as far as casinos go this was one that seem to integrate well with its surroundings, instead of being intentionally confusing. I felt much happier here and less stressed like normal casinos.
My local casino. Not the best I've been too but still a great casino none-the-less. Tons of Asians though. And they tend to fall asleep at the machines, which is rather annoying. Can be quite busy at during prime hours. Smoking and non smoking sections. Free parking. Awesome location, being it's at the old Bethlehem Steel Stacks. A must visit for sure.
