Everyone was friendly and the place smelled wonderful instead of chemically! I got better service and even with out the Groupon would have paid less than I normally do for a cut and color at places like American Hairlines! I highly recommend them and will be back next time I need work done!!

I have never been to this salon however I recently found a $100 gift certificate my son gave me as a Christmas gift. The expiration date was 12/23/12. I have had this happen with gift certs for other places where there was an expiration date and when I called to see if I could still use it was told that I absolutely could. After all, my son paid $100 and no services were received. The owner of the salon said 'it wasn't her choice'. Well I do not agree. It is your choice to make the decision to allow the use of the gift certificate. After all word of mouth is the best advertisement and can also be the worst advertisement.
I used their Groupon to get my hair cut, colored and deep conditioning treatment and can't wait to go back! My preferred hair color is red, so I'm always cautious going in to get it done at a new place. The color was perfect and the stylist got it right on the first time with no fixing of the color! I've never not had a stained scalp and they have always had to fix the color at least once cause my roots don't take color as well as the rest of my hair. I love the fact they didn't have to correct it at all!
I have been a customer of this salon since it opened and I can't imagine having my hair cut or colored anywhere else. I love the fact that all of the products are organic. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is top notch! I recommend Lux to friends and colleagues regularly and will continue to do so! 5 much deserved stars from me!
I think the best part is that they listened to what I had to say about how my hair reacts to different things. Like that the roots are hard to color so they did it in two steps. Or the fact that I hate blow outs (cause I can never recreate the looks) so they did my hair like I would normally do - blew it dry and straightened it! So I walked out of there seeing exactly what I would be seeing every day!
